Over the past few days, we have received several comments and messages, both through social media and via email, from operators who believe that our team is active almost exclusively in FT8.
We would like to make it clear that this is not the case.
We truly enjoy operating in CW and SSB as well, whenever propagation and local noise conditions allow it.
Our current absence from these modes is purely due to technical reasons.
We are facing a very high level of local QRM, with background noise consistently above S9, which makes it extremely difficult to properly copy signals and manage an effective pile-up.
We have been testing different mitigation solutions, including filtering systems, improved grounding, and antenna setup checks, but so far, none of them have produced significant improvements.
In the coming days, we will continue to test new configurations and operating strategies, with the goal of returning to CW and SSB as soon as conditions make it realistically possible.
We know that many operators prefer these classic modes — and we share that same passion and operating philosophy.
Thank you all for your understanding, patience, and continued support.
We hope to hear you soon on the air… hopefully in CW or SSB!
